iPad OneNote Can’t Insert File, The File is Larger than 50 MB

When inserting large files using iPad OneNote, prompt:
 
Can’t insert file
The file is larger than 50 MB.
 
What's going on?

Answer:

Yes, OneNote notebooks stored on OneDrive.com have been limited in attachment size from the start. Limited to under 50 MB.
 

Solution:

You can use the Windows Office OneNote to add larger attachments:

• For OneNote notebooks saved on OneDrive.com, it can be inserted attachments smaller than 100 MB. (See details) 
• For OneNote notebooks saved locally, there is no limit to attachments, it always can insert them.
