2026.1.10 OneNote for Windows 10 (OneNote UWP) is fully read-only after retirement

On October 14, 2025, OneNote for Windows 10 (OneNote UWP) was retired, and Microsoft has always claimed that it will make it read-only on October 14, 2025.
But it has been extended to enter read-only state.
Finally on January 10, 2026, OneNote for Windows 10 goes completely read-only.

- The words "(read-only)" appear in the title bar at the top of the OneNote for Windows 10 window.
- You cannot modify or edit the page
- Ribbon, most of the functions have turned gray out and are not clickable.
- However, you can also sync pages modified by other OneNote clients.
- "Add Notebook" can no longer be clicked.
- "More notebooks..." is also no longer clickable. (Unable to open other notebooks)
