Android OneNote: Sticky Notes can't sync your notes because you are signed out

Question:
Starting July 26, 2026, Android OneNote shows:
Working offline, Sign in to sync your notesSticky Notes can't sync your notes because you are signed out. Sign in to continue syncing to the cloud and to access your notes from anywhere.
Click "SIGN IN" to log in to Microsoft account.
But after exiting the App and reopening it, this prompt still appears. I had to log in again.
OneNote cannot remember login status.
