Pressing the shortcut Windows + Alt + N can be very convenient for creating quick note. New Quick Notes are placed in the Quick Notes section of OneNote.

- It can also be in the Quick Notes section of a local notebook.
- It can also be in a .one file somewhere on the hard drive (not in any notebook)
